Mike Cassidy, CEO and president of Fortress Strategy Group, has one goal – to share his expertise with company owners who seek help achieving sustainable business growth. His 30 years of broad business experience provides a framework for doing just that.
Mike has a record of achievement. He has been a CEO or owner for 23 years, and is the founder of two successful businesses, Package Right Corporation (PRC) and Fortress Strategy Group.
Each endeavor has allowed Mike to work with clients to achieve their objectives. He has helped businesses grow, strategize, improve operations, lead, and innovate.
Mike founded Fortress Strategy Group in 2008, and helps put money on the bottom line for his clients with his proprietary Fortress Methodology™. This method helps owners:
- Position their company for solid growth in revenues and profits
- Make breakthroughs in productivity, execution and game-changing innovations
- Build a team capable of sustaining these gains over time
- Maximize the value of their company
A working knowledge thirty years in the making
Applying his knowledge of strategy, operations, and leadership helped Mike move his first company from start-up to market leader.
Mike founded Package Right Corporation (PRC) in 1991, and set his company apart by positioning his clients to grow and thrive. By the time he sold his company in 2007, he had dominated domestic and low-cost foreign rivals. His clients included some of the most familiar brand names on the market.
Other experience
In addition to leading Fortress Strategy Group, Mike teaches The Principles of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, part of Purdue University’s Discovery Park, West Lafayette, Indiana. Mike is also an active member of several boards within his community.
